Welcome Zimmermann Memorial Abokobi

Welcome to the Zimmermann Memorial Abokobi congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Our heartbeat is orchestrated by the good news, which declares us righteous in God’s sight, by His grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus alone. This good news is the basis of our worship and inspires our service, as together we proclaim the grace of God to a lost society. We are growing with God’s grace, growing for God’s glory in transforming lives in Christ through the undiluted

Message from Chairperson

Word of God. undiluted Word of God.With over 200 congregations evenly distributed across the metropolis, our impact can be felt in most homes. The core of our activities are the lively worship services which take place every Sunday morning. These services are diversified and do take place in many different languages, including English.

However the lives of members really revolve around the many other activities that take place everyday of the week. These are mainly organised within the different groups in the church – the Women’s and Men’s Fellowships, the Youth and the Young Adult groups and the Teenage and Children’s groups. Besides these, there are interest groups like the Choir, the Singing Band, the Bible Study and the Prayer group and others. The Ga Presbytery is very ecumenically oriented, maintaining a vibrant relationship with all major denominations in Ghana , including Pentecostals and Charismatics.

We also have international partnership arrangements with churches in Canada , the USA and the United Kingdom . As you browse through our pages, you will learn about our major projects, aspirations and challenges as well as our continuing quest to be of relevance to the Ghanaian society.

Our faith in Jesus Christ is the driving force behind all that we do. By His grace, we hope to be a blessing to all who come our way. Welcome to the Ga Presbytery. To God be the glory.

Bible Verse of the Day

  • Together in Christ

Jesus prayed, “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. John 17:20-23
